What You Will Do

  • You will identify, initiate, build, and maintain relationships with key architects, designers, developers, project owners, builders and product specifiers within the Commercial and Residential Community of your territory to increase market share and bolster overall sales volume.
  • You will help develop our presence within the Commercial, High End Architectural & Design Community, as well as the Builder Community.
  • You will proactively garner new clients by promoting our company and new product lines
  • You will be responsible for distributing and promoting all new product lines while keeping clients up to date on current pricing, product changes, stock levels and order statuses
  • You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding your sales plan

What You Need

  • Three (3) years of sales experience in the building supply, construction, flooring, or design industry
  • Ability and passion for developing relationships and promoting products and events
  • High sales aptitude, self-motivation, and drive to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Friendly, confident, and outgoing personality
  • Positive attitude
  • Polished appearance
  • Excellent follow through and customer communication
  • Professional phone, email, and computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Driver's License (must provide current MVR)
  • Ability to travel within the designated sales territory

Nice to Have

  • College Degree or Equivalent Design Degree
  • Sales experience in either the tile and stone industry, builder industry, or design industry
  • Existing relationships with commercial and high-end residential architects, designers, end users, and developers
  • Knowledge of tile and stone characteristics
  • Understanding of design and color
