What You Will Do

  • Identify, initiate, build, and maintain relationships with key architects, designers, developers, project owners, commercial contractors, commercial tile installers, commercial fabricators and product specifiers within your territory to increase market share and bolster overall sales volume.
  • Work under Director of Commercial Sales and alongside Regional Managers to lead territory commercial sales team.
  • Develop an annual business plan for sales, specifications, positions to fill, event participation, national accounts to win, relationships to develop. etc.
  • Develop individual plans for every commercial sales representative and work with each rep to meet those goals.
  • You will proactively garner new clients by promoting our company and new product lines
  • Travel in the field weekly with and without reps to develop territory presence and relationships
  • You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales plan in your territory


What You Need

  • Ability and passion for closing sales
  • Professional Phone, Email, and Computer skills
  • Five (5) years of sales and management experience in either the tile and stone industry, builder industry, or design industry
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Knowledge of tile and stone characteristics
  • Outside sales experience with proven sales record and high sales aptitude
  • Flexibility, self-motivation, and drive to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Existing relationships with commercial and high-end residential designers
  • Ability to travel within the designated sales territory on weekly basis
  • Drivers License (must provide current MVR)
  • Ability and desire to travel within territory 75% of the time


Nice to Have

  • College Degree or Equivalent Design Degree
  • Sales experience in either the tile and stone industry, builder industry, or design industry
  • Existing relationships with commercial and high-end residential designers.
  • Understanding of design and color
